• No accounts, no forms, no mailing list. If you email us, we have your email because you sent it.
• We do not run analytics scripts that track you across the web.
• Ads on this site may be served by Google AdSense, which uses cookies. You can opt out of personalized ads (details below).
• We never sell personal data. We have none to sell.

What we collect and why

Hosting logs

Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp) to keep the site running and to stop abuse. These are retained for a short period by the provider and are not used to build profiles.

Email you send us

Contact links on this site open your own email client addressed to thirsttrapai@pm.me. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to reply or to track a correction. We do not add you to any list.

Advertising

This site may display ads served by Google AdSense in clearly labeled slots. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. Google's own policy is at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Ads are physically and visually separate from research, source links, calculator results, and corrections. Advertisers have no influence over any of them. See our advertising rules.

ThirstTrap.ai itself sets no cookies. Google AdSense may set advertising cookies as described above. The interactive calculator on the homepage runs entirely in your browser and stores nothing.

Merch

If a store is linked from the merch page, purchases happen on the store provider's site under its own privacy policy. We receive order details needed to fulfill and support your order and nothing else.

Your rights

Residents of the EU, UK, California, and other jurisdictions with privacy laws can ask what we hold about them and ask for it to be deleted. Given the above, the answer is usually “an email thread.” Write to thirsttrapai@pm.me.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
